Forte Strategisk is a globally balanced fund-of-fund with dynamic management.

The fund is managed by Stein Frode Aaseng and is an actively managed fund-of-fund with its main exposure to global equity markets, combined with positions in the fixed income market. The management is dynamic and seeks to adapt to market developments over time through adjusted exposure to both the equity and fixed-income portions of the portfolio.

Value management

Forte Strategisk invests in marketable securities, fixed income instruments and other funds, and has great flexibility both in terms of geographical distribution and choice of sector. The fund has a clear ambition to achieve high risk-adjusted returns, and the investments can be adjusted on an ongoing basis to optimise the ratio between risk and return.

The fund has no sector or geographical limitations, but will at all times have at least 80 percent of its assets invested in equity-related instruments. Fixed-income and fixed-income positions are used to balance the portfolio. The fund seeks to create added value through good allocation, careful selection of underlying funds and active risk management.

Strategy – how to create excess returns?

Forte Strategic uses strategic and tactical allocation between asset classes such as equities and fixed income, as well as global diversification, to achieve a return that exceeds the benchmark index. The manager continuously adjusts the exposure in line with market views and macroeconomic conditions.

The fund invests in both active and passive sub-funds, and seeks to achieve excess return through careful selection, cost-effective operations and a focus on global growth opportunities. Risk is reduced by broad diversification and adaptation to different market environments.

Our mandate

Forte Strategisk has a global and flexible mandate, with no ties to specific industries or regions. The portfolio will primarily consist of funds with high equity exposure, but may also include fixed income funds and cash portions if needed. The fund has no dividend payment – all returns are reinvested.

The fund is suitable for long-term savers with a minimum investment horizon of 5 years. It follows the UCITS regulations, and investments can normally be subscribed or redeemed daily.
